The infections related to the urinary tract, mild to moderate lower respiratory tract (bronchitis), severe lower respiratory tract (pneumonia), etc are cured with the use of this medication. This medication stops the growth of bacteria from growing further.
Although the medication is helpful in curing infections related to bacteria, it is still advised to take this medication under the recommendation of the doctor. If taking this medication without consulting the doctor then some side effects could occur.
USES OF CEFUROXIME AXETIL DISPERSIBLE TABLETS

HOW TO USE CEFUROXIME AXETIL DISPERSIBLE TABLETS?
- Due to the strong bitter taste the medicine should not be crushed or chewed.
- Take this medication at the same time each day so that you don’t miss the dose of the medicine
- This medication can be taken with food to increase absorption & to reduce the upset of the stomach
- This medication should be taken under the recommendation of a doctor. It is suggested to take this medication by mouth twice daily within a gap of 12 hours or as advised by your doctor.
- You should take the medication till the time your doctor has prescribed you. You should not stop the use of this medication even if you have started feeling better. If you will stop taking the medication on your own then it may allow the bacteria to grow, which may result in infection

While taking Cefuroxime Axetil 250 mg Dispersible, some mild or common side effects could occur. Although in some patients these side effects could disappear on their own some patients require medical attention.
