Doxylamine is an antihistamine that works by inhibiting the action of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby controlling nausea, vomiting, and dizziness. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is a form of vitamin B which possesses anti-nausea properties. Folic acid is also a type of Vitamin B essential to maintain healthy women’s reproductive health. Nausea and vomiting during pregnancy also called morning sickness are common symptoms of pregnancy. It begins during the 6th week of pregnancy lasting up to the 18th week.
