Permethrin 5% w/w + Cetrimide 0.1% w/w + Methylparaben-0. 1% w/w+Propylparaben-0.02%w/w Lotion belongs to the category of pyrethroids. This lotion is an antiparasitic drug that is used in the treatment of various infections caused by lice, eggs, and mites. This lotion is mostly used in the treatment of scabies and pediculosis. Scabies is a skin infection that is caused by mites and can also spread from one person to another. Whereas, pediculosis is a disease that is mostly found in children who are above the age of five years. This infection attacks the hairy parts of the body, especially the scalp.

Permethrin 5% w/w + Cetrimide 0.1% w/w + Methylparaben-0. 1% w/w+Propylparaben-0.02%w/w Lotion is made by combining various drugs that include permethrin, cetrimide, methylparaben, and propylparaben. Permethrin, being an antiseptic drug, helps in killing small insects and their eggs that cause scabies. Cetrimide is an antiseptic solution that is mainly used for cleaning wounds to prevent skin infections. Methylparaben acts as an antifungal agent that is used in most personal-care products to protect the body from fungal infections. Propylparaben is found most in cosmetics such as creams, and lotions and acts as an antimicrobial agent.
